Desh Apnayen
Getting the students to learn from the heroes of the past and present to create a great future is the current mission of Desh Apnayen Foundation. Their vision is to co-create Democracy 2.0, by building an accountable citizenry and society around three important themes: Citizenship education, Volunteerism and Neighbourhood engagement.
Our School is a part of:
1. ” Desh Apnayen Actizens’ Club” which fosters students’ 21st Century skill in a variety of ways and enables them to become ACTIZENS – alert, informed and active citizens.
2. ACTIZEN LEADERSHIP LAB – which helps the students to take effort in understanding and trying to solve the civic issues in their neighbourhood.
We participated in the monthly activity under the ACTIZEN CLUB and have won the following awards in the academic year 2021-22.
- 3rd prize in All India Level on the topic Rights and Duties
- An award for ENTHUSIASTIC and OPTIMISTIC team
- Most dedicated partner school
- Champion teacher award
Our students are actively involved in ACTIZEN LEADERSHIP LAB which started in the month of MAY 2022 after 2 rounds of selection process which happen all over India. Nearly 23 students participated in Actizen leadership and they got divided into three three teams i.e Waste management, Water conservation & Road safety in which the students will get guidance from their respective mentors. Most of the students completed their mentioned activity and few are in the mid of the activity. Even students got appreciation in the form of gifts from Desh Apnayen Team.
