School Band

Shri B.S Mootha senior secondary believes in a theory that learning “skills”, need not necessarily initiate in an academic classroom but can also be fostered in unlikely places such as school band practise. Our school proudly welcomes our new energetic, rhythmic and vibrant school band comprising of 23 students for the year 2022-23. Our school band consists of 22 Instruments like Trumpets, bugles, Side drums, Base drums, Cymbals, Maracas, Triangle and Major stick.

School Band provides so many important attributes for students to have a well-rounded education. From discipline, structure to social interaction that is needed in the real world. Band training Increases cognitive reasoning, enhances collaborative works, gives emotional outlet and offers creative thinking.

We teach students how to be better people through music.
