Sports Day 2019

The 41st Sports Day of Shri B.S. Mootha Girls Sr. Sec. School flagged off to a colorful start on 25th July 2019 at Sri Ramakrishna Playground, T. Nagar at 8.00 A.M..The Chief Guest for the event was Mr. K.C. Ganapthy, Intl. Sailor, train innumerable sailors for several years. The Chief guest hoisted the National Flag and then took the guard of honour from the March Past team of our school. He then declared the Sports Meet Open. The Olympic torch was lit and the students buzzed with activity and pride. The Annual Report was read by the sports Secretary Pooja, highlighting the awards won by our school students during the year 2018-19. The Chief Guest was then felicitated with a bouquet by our Principal Mam, Ms. Usha Nandini. Our Secretary Shri Dharmichand Singhvi honoured our Chief Guest with a shawl. Our Correspondent gave him the Memento signifying his presence at the event. The Chief Guest endeared the audience with his motivating speech ushering in the necessity for hard work and diligence. There was no dearth for audience participation as well, and the PARENTS’ EVENT too went off with great gusto. The Programme ended with a note of Appreciation to one and all by our Principal Mam and the Asst. School Pupil Leader, read the Vote of Thanks. Then it was the National Anthem, to wind up the event.
