Republic Day Celebration 2024

The 75th Republic Day celebration took place at Shri B.S. Mootha Girls Sr. Sec School on 26th January at 7:30 am within the school premises. The event was graced by the presence of the honourable chief guest Mr. Vijay P Chordia, President, Hindustan chamber of commerce.
Secretary Shri. Vijay Kothari, Correspondent Shri.Kishan Srisrimal Jain, Chairman Shri. Prakash C Sacheti, Managing trustee Shri.Dharmichand Singhvi, Vice president Shri. Harish Mehta, other management members of the school, and Principal Smt. Swarnalatha Gopalakrishnan, welcomed and felicitated the honourable guest.
The event commenced with a prayer song in the presence of an enthusiastic gathering. The correspondent introduced and welcomed the chief guest and the gathering. The national flag was unfurled by the esteemed chief guest Vijay P Chordia. Thought-provoking speeches were delivered by students in English, Hindi, and Tamil.
Melodious patriotic songs centered around national integration and excellent dance performances fusing various styles were presented by the students. The chief guest addressed the gathering, emphasizing the significance of the day and urging the students to become responsible citizens.
At SBSM, this was truly a day of joy and love for the country. The students were encouraged to contribute in making India a better place for all its citizens, promoting freedom, peace, and unity in diversity. Through such fervent celebrations of the Republic Day, our school continues to play a vital role in nurturing responsible and patriotic citizens of the future.
The day’s celebrations concluded with a vote of thanks, followed by the National Anthem.
