Reopening for Tiny Tots

Shri B.S Mootha Girls Senior Secondary School resumed physical classes for the tiny tots on 16 February, 2022, after being shut for nearly two years in the wake of the COVID 19 pandemic.

The Management Members, The Secretary Mr Vijay Kothari, The Correspondent Mr Kishan Srisrimal Jain and The Principal Ms Swarnalatha Gopalakrishnan and Staff who were waiting eagerly for the announcement were overjoyed to be the first school to welcome their Kindergarten children, amidst gaiety and fanfare.

Toddlers were welcomed back on the campus with flowers, balloons and sweets, all while following social distancing protocols.

Children of the higher classes helped the little ones settle down by putting up a dance with colourful Pom-poms and showering them with rose petals. Soft music was played at the entrance to soothe the young minds.

Children were very excited to see the colouful balloon arch at the entrance. The school itself was a riot of colours which grabbed the attention of parents and children alike.

Teachers planned activity based events that helped the children get re-acclimatized to the classroom environment after a long gap. Complimentary gifts made by the teachers and balloons were given to the children as a welcome back gift. The School has been following and will continue to follow the SOP guidelines issued by the Tamil Nadu government.
