                                                                 International Yoga Day
21st June 2023
International Yoga Day was celebrated on 21st June 2023 at our school premises with great zest and zeal. An invaluable gift of ancient Indian tradition, yoga has emerged as one of the most trusted means to boost physical and mental well-being. The theme for International Yoga Day this year is “Yoga for Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam,” which beautifully encapsulates the collective aspiration for “One Earth, One Family, and One Future.”
The occasion was organized under the guidance and support of the School Secretary Mr. Vijay Kothari, the Correspondent Mr. Kishan Srisrimal Jain, and the Principal Mrs. Swarnalatha Gopalakrishnan. The day began with the invocation song by the school choir. The guests, from the Heartfulness Meditation Team and the Principal, graced the event with their presence. It commenced with a brief introduction of the guests Ms Meena Purohit Meditation certified trainer, Dr Deekshana Yoga Trainer, Rajeswary Yoga trainer and Diptika Meditation Trainer. The chief guests were presented with a memento by the Principal and a shawl as a token of gratitude.

The inaugural dance “Rythmic Yoga” performed by the students of class 8 and class 11 was a perfect exhibit of teamwork.
Yoga demonstrations with a few warm-up exercises and Asanas were performed by the yoga trainers. The Principal, Coordinators, teachers, and students of class x performed the Aasanas enthusiastically. Students of all classes performed Yoga and meditation throughout the day.
The event came to an end with a vote of thanks. The dignitaries of the day were thanked for their presence and efforts in making the event a grand success.
