Children’s Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm at Shri B S Mootha Girls Senior Secondary School on 14th November, 2022. The occasion was graced by the presence of the School Secretary Mr Vijay Kothari, the Correspondent Mr Kishan Srisrimal Jain and the Principal Mrs Swarnalatha Gopalakrishnan. The celebration commenced with the morning Prayer. The children came dressed in colorful attires. An array of stalls with mouth-watering food items, and exciting games like archery, balloon shooting, bubble game and ring toss were the main attractions of the fete. Students were given complimentary wholesome food items like fruit salad, popcorn, sundal, cotton candy, chocolate fountain, fruit juices, sweet corn and whole corn cobs. The highlight of the day was a magic show by Mr Shakthivel, who mesmerized the children with his fascinating and enchanting tricks. This was followed by fun filled activities like Bungee trampoline jumping and accurate predictions of the future by Killi Joshiyam (Parrot Astrology). Photography, Rangoli and Fireless Cooking competitions were conducted on this momentous day to showcase the talents of the students. The students enjoyed dancing to the tunes of popular tracks. The campus was buzzing with excitement and joy as it was a day wherein fun and frolic dominated.
