FIN-TASTIC  (CLASSES 1&2)

                          Taking inspiration from this quote, on April 2nd, 2025, the students of Classes 1 and 2, in collaboration with the British Council, enthusiastically participated in the RIDS activity titled “Fin–tastic”, under the theme of SDG 14 – Life Below Water. This initiative aimed to raise awareness about the importance of preserving marine life and protecting our oceans for a sustainable future.

The “Fin–tastic” event began at 10:00 AM in the Senior Tal area of our school campus. The occasion was graced by our esteemed School Secretary Shri Nirmal Nahar, Correspondent Shri Raj Kumar Jain, Principal Mrs. Deivanai, along with an enthusiastic gathering of parents who attended as ‘Sea-Spectators’.

Through lively skits and enactments, the students presented creative ways to prevent ocean pollution and showcased their understanding of marine conservation. The performances included portrayals of various sea animals, along with important messages about protecting aquatic ecosystems. A delightful storytelling session titled “Whimsical Puppets” further enriched the program, as children brought ocean tales to life with handmade puppets and imaginative narratives.

The event also featured a vibrant exhibition of 3D models and scrapbooks, reflecting the students’ research, creativity, and commitment to sustainability. These displays offered a visual journey through the wonders of marine life and the urgent need to protect it.

The RIDS activity  “Fin–tastic” was a grand success, sparking curiosity, creativity, and consciousness among young learners and the community. It left a meaningful impact, reminding us all of the vital role we play in safeguarding life below water for generations to come.
