Shri B.S. Mootha Girls Senior
Secondary School organized the World Hindi Day celebration on 10th January
2025. The honorable Chief Guest, Mrs. Ravi Ranjani Singh, a Hindi subject
expert, along with members of the management, including President Mr. Harish L Metha, Vice President Mr. Madanlal Gundecha,
Managing Trustee Mr. Paras Singh Munoth, Secretary Mr. Nirmal Nahar,
Correspondent Mr. Rajkumar Jain, Principal In-Charge Mrs. Deivanai, and
teachers, attended the prayer session.
The program commenced with the
traditional lighting of the lamp. This was followed by an inspiring speech by
the Chief Guest, who emphasized that Hindi is not only the identity of India
but also a true carrier, communicator, and representative of our life values,
culture, and traditions. He highlighted that Hindi, being a very simple,
natural, and easy language, is probably the most scientific language in the
world, understood, spoken, and loved by a large number of people across the
globe.
The main highlight of the
function was the cultural program, in which students showcased their talents
through poetry recitations, speeches, a ramp walk, and musical
performances.
Following the performances,
students were awarded and motivated to strive for excellence. The event
concluded with a vote of thanks.
