The celebration began with a solemn prayer and the Tamizh Thaai Vaazhthu, invoking blessings for the nation. The Chief Guest, Dr. G.V. Sampath, Chairman & Managing Director of Naruvi Hospitals, was warmly welcomed and felicitated with a shawl and memento by the school management, honouring his contributions and gracing the occasion with his presence.
The National Flag was hoisted with dignity by the Chief Guest in the presence of Shri Harish L. The National Pledge was then taken, reaffirming the commitment to uphold the unity, integrity, and honour of the country.
The cultural programme showcased the rich talent of SBSM students and their deep love for the country. The performances included a dynamic patriotic drill, inspiring speeches in English, Hindi, and Tamil, a moving skit depicting the struggles of freedom fighters, and a delightful fancy dress presentation by the Kindergarten students. Each performance was a heartfelt tribute to the heroes of the nation and a reminder of the values that unite us.
The Chief Guest’s address inspired the gathering to uphold integrity, work hard, and contribute meaningfully to the nation’s progress. The programme concluded with a sincere Vote of Thanks and the National Anthem, as the school community pledged to carry forward the spirit of freedom in their daily lives.
